Join us for a winding walk through Casuarina trees and Parrot bush where Western Spinebills and New Holland Honeyeaters search for nectar. Also a popular nesting and congregation area of the Red-tailed Black Cockatoos.

Our guide will share their favourite special of wildflowers in the park and you'll get the chance to enjoy one of the short but sweet trails in Bungendore with like-minded people.

Originally gazetted a timber reserve in 1897, Bungendore Park was repurposed as Parklands in 1908 and classified an 'A' Class reserve. With a history of timber and gravel extraction as well as firewood and honey production, there are sections of the park under revegetation.

This hike is sponsored by LiveLighter and Supported by City of Armadale. LiveLighter’s Start Small campaign aims to encourage and motivate WA adults to save money on living expenses whilst maintaining a healthy diet and keeping physically active. Start small and grow your healthy habits!
