Hiking is for EVERY body!
In partnership with the City of Kalamunda and Supported by the Department of Local Government, Sport & Cultural Industries (DLGSC), we are honoured to host the Accessible Adventure Series throughout 2025 in Kalamunda.
The Railway Heritage Trail in Kalamunda offers a scenic and historically rich 2km hike, perfect for those looking to enjoy nature while stepping back in time. The trail follows part of the Upper Darling Range Railway, now referred to as the Railway Heritage Trail, which once played a crucial role in transporting timber and goods in the early 1900s. Winding through beautiful jarrah and marri forests, the path provides glimpses of the Perth city skyline through the trees. Along the way, interpretive signs share fascinating stories of the railway’s past.
